Can you see now?

Often times we look at what people say as the biggest indication of who they are and how they feel. Much can be learned by what people say, it is a great way to see what is going on in their minds, even if they are lying, that deceit tells much about what they feel. Though as important as listening to what people say is, it is just as important to look at what they do not say.

Recently a video was discovered of children singing songs about Obama, this in and of itself may seem harmless, but the lyrical content was rather distressing. "Equal pay for equal work" was one line (NOTE: this is not The Watchman distilling the words, find the video hear for yourself). Kids have no clue what that means, but children often believe whatever adults tell them. Schoolchildren are taught that, it is the core of the learning principle at that age, do they really need to learn that? If this is repeated, they could very well grow up reciting party lines and campaign slogans (many of which were mentioned in the songs). I cannot say that Obama or his staff had a hand in this-it would be impossible to show there is or is not a connection, but I find his lack of comment on this matter to be distressing, more on that later.

Today a video was posted on Breitbart.tv that showed a group "praying to Obama." Once again I urge readers to see the video themselves to see that this is not partisan propaganda. Though it remains to be seen whether Obama had any idea this was going on, I doubt if he did know that we would ever find out. It has been revealed that the group that was praying to him does have close connections with him, the Gamaliel group hired Obama as he first started his career.

In fairness, nobody can tell whether or not Obama had any knowledge of any of these incidents, however he has said nothing about the schoolchildren singing his praises and I find it unlikely he will say anything about this.

Look at what he is not saying, by virtue of his silence at most he is guilty of is agreeing with songs of praise about him and having people pray to him. If this is the case, he is a dangerous man who is not fit to lead this nation-such tendencies belong to those who are megalomaniacs and the USA does not need a megalomaniac in office. At the very least he is poorly informed or too cowardly to comment, he cannot find an explanation as it may reveal his intentions and draw even more heat to his unconstitutional way of handling this government. Maybe he feels that if he answers these events that he is admitting culpability, an innocent man would have nothing to fear then, so why the silence?

Let's keep track: 32 czars with no oversight, admitted desire to nationalize healthcare, a plan to send taxes through the roof in the name of the great global warming lie, and a complete lack of transparency. Furthermore he ducked the issues of race when his democrat colleagues accused all dissenters of being racist, comments nothing about schoolkids singing songs filled with his politics, and I am willing to bet he will say little if anything about this latest controversy. If he does say anything, it will be well after the fact like he did with the charges of racism levied at the American public. He may just wait it out again and make some passing comment-the hubris of this man is staggering.

Wake up, see who this man really is and rectify your mistake. Vote in all upcoming elections to limit his power until 2012 when we can send him packing. Freedom belongs to the American public, as such we are the ones who can let it go. We are coming perilously close to that-stay awake, stay alert, and above all stay informed. Don't believe just anyone, find the facts and see the truth.

Whose Fault is This Anyway?

"Just like the pied piper led rats through the streets, we dance like marionettes swaying to the symphony of destruction" from the song "Symphony of Destruction" by Megadeth.

In order to understand the present, we must understand the past. To understand where we went wrong as a nation...and as a people, we must see just what has transpired in years before to lead us where we are now. Many people these days want to blame the inept GW Bush, the lecherous cretin Bill Clinton, and the man who would be Chairman-Barack Obama. They have their parts in this play, but they aren't totally to blame.

Woodrow Wilson got the ball rolling, he fully embraced the idea of the League of Nations which became the UN. He endorsed socialist ideas and sought to take America away from its roots. This paved the way for Franklin Roosevelt who expanded government vastly-it was he who implemented programs that allowed the government to meddle in the affairs of its citizens. His extra constitutional programs paved the way for the government to go beyond its Constitutional mandate of defending the nation, negotiating treaties, levying taxes and tariffs and providing the overall frame of the nation. He spit in the face of sovereignty and ushered in an era of the government having power over the people and not the other way around.

With these new powers in hand the government went about creating new programs, giving new handouts, and systematically and silently went about dividing the nation into castes. You could still work your way up and make something of yourself, but you must defy the odds and never take your sights off of it. Take a look at the slums and ghettos and tell me public assistance works.

Clinton ushered in an era of prosperity...that was built on the foundation Ronald Reagan laid down. Reagan got it right, he let business be business and he did NOT take any crap from any foreign nation. He was not as pushy and maverick as GW Bush, he showed legitimate strength and diplomacy-he knew how to do it. George Bush maintained, and had the unfortunate luxury of being on watch during the inevitable economic cycle of Boom-downturn-recession-recovery-Boom. He was outfoxed by the slick, charming Bill Clinton who did create a surplus...while making the US weak in foreign policy. GW Bush came along and was saddled with 9/11, he took the surplus he was given and squandered it on destroying our civil liberties, fighting a pointless war in Iraq and he also failed to realize in Afghanistan: "There is a difference between not losing and winning."

Like the opening quote says: "Just like the pied piper led rats through the streets" Barack Obama was even more charming than Clinton. "Hope and Change" who in their right mind does not want that? After the awful job Bush did, we need hope and we need change-but he never quite defined change. People were so enamored by his poise, his speaking skill, his looks, and his affable demeanor they failed to realize he is tied in to many radicals (do your homework, it's true) such as: Bill Ayres-self admitted terrorist, George Soros-socialist billionaire with his fingers in everything, and Saul Alinski-rules for radicals, interesting reading. Now people blame him, they blame Bush, they blame congress, they blame everyone under the sun except perhaps the biggest culprit...The American People.

You had your chance to do your homework, you had the chance to see who this man really is, and now you are getting buyers remorse. I harbor no ill will though, nobody should-we all make mistakes, fortunately this is one that can be undone. By undoing it, not only can we atone for this mistake, we can build a better future. That is only if we learn and work diligently towards never repeating the same mistake.

Make your voice heard, petition your legislators and tell them in no uncertain terms that you will not vote for them unless they do their jobs and listen to you. When Obama speaks-you listen and listen well, pick through his words and see the lies he spews. If you want to know what to do, do the opposite of what he says. He does not care about you, he does not like you, he does not have your best interests at heart. All he wants to do is consolidate his power and run your life as he sees fit.

America has made a terrible mistake, don't make another one. Electing him was a big mistake that can be undone, allowing him to fully enact his plans...that cannot be undone.

Change is a Two Way Street

"Help me if you can, it's just that this-is not the way I'm wired"~From "The Outsider" by A Perfect Circle

For those of us in this world that do not follow the lead of Obama, we are all considered outsiders by many. Though the tide may be shifting...

He ran on a platform of hope and change, many of us heard the words until we were ready to puke. Well, you cannot fault him for lying, he has delivered on one campaign promise-he has brought about change, but as the title reads, change is a two way street.

Admittedly, the USA was not on the right track when he took office-GW Bush was a fool, he was in way over his head and lead this nation in the wrong direction. Afghanistan was and is an necessity, Iraq was a waste of time-yes the people are free, but did they want it? Bush also led the Republicans in spending our way out of a surplus-yes we did not get attacked again, but we also surrendered many civil liberties and lost our identity in the world.

If we were on the wrong track before, we are going down an even more incorrect path at a terrible rate of speed headed towards a brick wall, consider:

Healthcare: For 300 million plus Americans-you cannot raise taxes high enough or cut enough services to pay for it. There may not be death panels now, but there will be in time.

Cap and Trade: If you tax businesses, they will pass the pain off onto consumers in the form of higher prices for everything and less new jobs. This plan also taxes Americans themselves and sets limits on how much power we can use-all in the name of global warming which does not exist.

Czars: Nobody knows how much authority they have, coincidence? They also only report to the President himself. They are not vetted or investigated-look at two of them so far, Van Jones an admitted Communist, and Cass Sunstein who believes animals should have the right to sue and that our organs are property of the government.

Before you label this as partisan rhetoric, falsehoods, half-truths, or fear mongering look up what has been written. It is there in black and white, all facts, and regarding Jones and Sunstein-they have them on tape.

This nation is rotting away. People have been conditioned to see government as an all powerful force who tells the people what they can and cannot do. Generations have been fed handouts of welfare which have drained their desire to achieve and accomplish. All Obama wants to do is give more handouts and make more people more dependent...

Anyone want to venture a guess why?

First of Many

There is a place for everything, I am guessing a video game site is really not the place for blogging about politics. For me it was missionary work, trying to bring the truth to people who enjoy spending their time living vicarious lives through pixels. I love gaming, but that has to take a back seat to the problems facing the United States.

I am a conservative when it comes to foreign policy, taxation, and the role of government. When it comes to social issues, I can be seen as liberal-I support gay marriage (as long as the public deems it to be acceptable) and I am pro-choice. As awful as abortion is, I think by making it illegal sets a dangerous precedence when it comes to the government interfering with our bodies.

As far as I see it-the government should stay out of our lives. According to the constitution, the Government's purpose is to defend the nation, levy taxes and tariffs, negotiate treaties in good faith. THEY ARE NOT supposed to legislate morality, they ARE NOT supposed to provide aid, they ARE NOT supposed to dabble or in present tense run health care-anything outside the aforementioned list is beyond the scope of the constitution.

Sadly we have a president who sees himself more as a Communist Chairman. He seeks to extend governmental power and have his say in the everyday lives of Americans. This cannot stand, and though writing words in the vastness of cyberspace may not be much, it is more than nothing at all.

I welcome all people here-If you agree with me, that is great...as long as it is what you believe based on the facts. If you disagree, that is also fine-as long as you have the facts to back it up. I am never ashamed to admit I am wrong, as I see it-that is a good thing as it gets me closer to the truth.

That is all I want-the truth, anything else is self defeating and pointless. If you welcome the truth, then post here and discuss-if not, educate yourself first.
